Singaporeans, and probably most of the whole of Asia, definitely need brighter moments in their lives. Just imagine, what if one day your subway train operator decided to break out into a rap over the PA system. That should somewhat brighten your otherwise mundane day.

Say a slide at the subway station instead of stairs.

Or guitar performances on the bus

Interesting idea I had, could possible turn it into pranks or just really innocent attempts to bring joy to the faces of mundane office workers.

SMRT

So with a hat trick of problems this week, Transport Minister Tuck Yew has indicated that the NS and EW lines of the MRT system in Singapore will only start operation at 10am.

There will be bus bridging services, but we all know how they will fare out.
Plus it’ll be hilarious if people actually queue up at MRT Stations to take the train prior 10am.

Folks going out early Sunday morning, do make alternative arrangements, like maybe walk to church, to work, or to the nearest airport if you’re late for your flight.

That, was the biggest load of bullshit I’ve ever read/heard in all my 10 odd years in this industry. The logic behind it, even though I’m extremely familiar with the work conditions, is astounding.

Bottom line, the way an employer treats an employee, reflects highly on the company as a whole. No wonder the reputation of said company is in shams.

Personal experience explains it all…

Revival

Well seems like I need to revive this blog, once again, not the first time in many years.

New songs, new videos.

The workload isn’t helping, and it’s time to abide by the famous quote they say in NS (at least for us men, not you commanders)

Well that has worked out pretty dang well so far. Time to prioritize.

Revamping the whole website. Gonna do away with the blog thingy, but will figure out a way to retain the song lyrics and videos.
